Applications
For point and line detection
This adjustable water detector is designed for a wide variety of conductivity sensors, both for point and line detection. With water detection ribbon, you create a measuring circuit, for example under a computer floor. With detection cord you secure water pipes and technical installations. Programming is not necessary and testing the operation -both during and after installation- is easy.
Built-in wire breakage control
The system operates with a safe sensor voltage of up to 8 volts. Monitoring against short circuit and interruption is possible with the supplied terminating resistor. This creates a measurement loop, allowing the detector to permanently monitor both the sensor and the wiring.
Professional DIN version
The water detector NVP is intended for DIN rail mounting, for example in a switch cabinet. The potential-free changeover contact can be used for an external alarm generator, activation of a GSM detector or as an input signal for a building management system (BMS). Model NVP-16 features a built-in 55 dB buzzer. There is also a 24V model, the NVP-35. All models comply with the EMC standard.
