Product description
The Float Stainless Steel detects the water level in a tank, container or basin. This sensor has a single-pole switch contact, for controlling a pump or alarm/detection unit. The Stainless Steel Float is suitable for tap water, rainwater and dirty water. It also works in other liquids, including diesel, gasoline and oil.
Applications
Operation of the stainless steel float
When the level of the liquid changes, the contact switches. With the switching contact you can activate an alarm detector/alarm unit or control a GSM detector. Another application is use as a MIN and MAX signal for a level control. You can mount the stainless steel float switch either hanging or standing, to determine make or break contact. Reversing from NC to NO (or vice versa) is possible by removing and replacing the float on the vertical axis. You can extend the connecting wires up to 50 m, with a 2-wire signal line. Attention: the float sensor stainless steel is not suitable for switching mains voltage!
