The water level regulator contains 2 separate switching relays with potential-free changeover contacts. It operates on both 230 Volt mains voltage and 12 Vdc. The relay contact can directly control a pump or valve (230 V or other voltage). There is a second switching contact for overflow protection.
Applications
Level controller for refilling and emptying
This level controller can refill or drain a reservoir, by means of a valve (solenoid valve) or pump. Thanks to the changeover contacts, both possibilities are available. This level controller serves to automatically maintain the water level in a well, basement, pond, swimming pool, aquarium, (rain) water tank or other water storage. For the operation of the level controller, it makes no difference whether the basin is made of metal, plastic or concrete.
Level control with overflow alarm
The second relay contact provides a warning at a certain water level:
- Water level notification for monitoring.
- Overflow notification in case of supply valve failure.
- Dry-running notification for pump protection.
- The third sensor works independently of the sensors for switching on and off. So you can place it at any height for which you want a warning/notification.
Tip: You can also use a
float sensor for this purpose.
Operates on mains voltage or 12 V battery

With the mounting height of the MIN and MAX probes you determine the bandwidth of the water level. This water level control offers optimum flexibility, because changing the switching points is very easy, by adjusting the sensor placement. A third sensor is required for the overflow alarm. Tip: if you order 3 sensors directly (select box at number) the unit price is lower. You may extend the connecting cables of the corresponding stainless steel water sensors up to 50 m. This can be done with normal 2-wire signal cable.

For outdoor use, we recommend the rain-waterproof
outdoor IP65 cabinet. For this Level Controller, choose the M6 = 108 mm option.
