Product description
This small float switch is suitable for tap water, rain water, demi water and wastewater. There are 2 versions. Both can also be used for level detection of liquids diesel, gasoline and oil.
Applications
For almost all liquids
As the (water) level rises, the float floats and the switching contact closes. The mounting height determines where the switching point is. This float switch can directly control an
alarm/detection unit.
Level and alarm notification via GSM
The GSM detector has 2 inputs; you can connect a float to each of them. This makes it possible to monitor levels remotely via SMS message.
Switch contact NO or NC
When the level of water (or other liquid) changes at the switching point, the contact opens or closes: You determine this in advance by means of the mounting method. (See illustrations). By turning the float body you can change the switching function from ON (NO = normally open) to OFF (NC = normally closed). You check this with a multimeter. The 2-wire switch wires can be extended up to 50 m. Please note that the float sensor is not suitable for switching 230 V mains voltage.
